Hermosa Valley School Welcomes New Principal

Editor’s Note: Hermosa Valley School’s sixth grade journalism class is using the Patch blog to post some of their work under the guidance of teacher Christine Duclos.

Mrs. Escalante originally worked at a school in Beverly Hills. She comes out at recess almost every day. She has brought new ideas and rules to make Hermosa Valley a better place.

For instance, to make the school more organized, the sixth through eighth graders meet in the quad area before school. Third through fifth graders meet at basketball courts.

She has been and will be a great addition to the community and school.
