Hermosa Valley’s Sixth Grade social studies class has been focusing on ancient civilizations this year. When the class begins a new section the first thing we learn is the geography of the area, and then we learn about the cultural side of that civilization. People now can relate yesterday’s occurrences with today’s events and know that ancient life is an important part of who we are today.
