Junior lifeguards is a great summer activity. There are lots of fun aspects to it. First of all, there are tons of fun swims and runs. You run into the ocean and swim a selected course.

When you get back from the swim or run you line up in order of what place you got and the first person back tells you what place you got.
The instructors are awesome. For C’s they have three instructors: Kim, Jackie, and Kevin. They are super nice and always help. For B’s there is Amanda and Tony.
There are lots of games in junior guards. There is Radical Smackdown and Nationball. Radical Smackdown combines the properties of capture the flag with those of dodgeball and happy happy fun ball. Nationball is just like dodgeball but when you get out you can get the people on the other team out from behind.
Overall, junior lifeguards is very fun and exiting. It keeps you in good shape and is very helpful. You learn useful skills like CPR and heighmleigh maneuver. I recommend you do junior lifeguards this summer.
