Hermosa Valley’s New Superintendent

          The new superintendent at Hermosa Valley School is Mrs. Escalante. She became our superintendent by being selected by the Hermosa Beach City School District School Board. Over the summer she went back to college and got her masters.

          She likes being the superintendent at Hermosa Beach Schools. She likes the job because she likes to see all the kids playing around. She walks around the school, Hermosa Valley, and talks to all the elementary and middle school students that walk past.

          I went to interview her and asked her,” Where have you worked before?”

          She responded,” Yes.  I have worked at Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills Districts.”   She worked in Beverly Hills for eight years.

           Her kids went to Hermosa Schools and she lives

 in Hermosa Beach as well as working here.
