Taking Part in Tree Musketeers

PJ Sundeen, a Hermosa Valley School student, writes about Tree Musketeers, a program that helps the environment while you plant and weed trees and make the earth beautiful.

Editor’s Note: Hermosa Valley School’s sixth grade journalism class is using the Patch blog to post some of their work under the guidance of teacher Christine Duclos.

I went to a location in El Segundo. We weeded around some trees that had been planted in 1999. It was fun; we got to have the feeling of accomplishment, and did a good deed.

Tree Musketeers does this activity twice a month. All you have to do to participate is sign some papers—more information is available on the organization's website.
