The South Bay Surf Series

Mike Balzer is the creator of the south bay Surf series. Every month, people sign up and pay a small entrance fee. When you win, you get a prize. This surf contest is for all ages. Also for lunch the contestants get a free burrito to fill them up. A surf contest is every month and there is one per month for 4 to 6 months starting usually in December.

In the contest there are four judges for north, and four judges for the south. The heats are per age group. All people that watch this sit right by the water and cheer on the people tey know.The contest ends somewhere around four o’clock every time, but if you have other activities going on that day, you can leave but you won’t get a prize.
