The notion of second-hand smoke should not shape public policy -- even if it had merit, which it doesn't.

Although many believe the hysteria, the myth, that second-hand smoke is a hazard, such claims are without proof.

I resent that a non-smoker's disdain for smoking can impede a smoker from enjoying personal liberty; I resent that Liberal councilmen can use local government to attain this oppressive law and I regret that they apparently did so without public outrage.
