Contest: View Patch's 'Decked Out' Houses

HOW TO VIEW AND VOTE: The chance to enter our contest has ended and the town winners have all been crowned! Browse the winners list at http://deckthehouse.patch.com/contest/chatsworth, and visit the website again on Dec. 30 to vote for your favorite finalist. Your votes will decide the national grand prize winner and the schools in that town receive $100,000!

Patch on Dec. 8 launched a to find the best decorated home in its Patch communities, and the winner’s school district will receive $100,000, no strings attached. Well, Monday was the last day to enter the contest and now individual town winners have been selected.

Here’s how the contest worked: You could nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the site. You and your neighbors could also vote for your favorite festive home.

Now each winning entry will be forwarded to a national Patch judge that will select 24 finalists. California has four towns in the Top 24 finalists: Davis, Monrovia, Pacifica and Rohnert Park. Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill.

Here's how you can help—from Friday through 9 p.m. Jan. 8, you will be able to vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch. The grand prize winner’s school district will receive a $100,000 check from Patch.
