Hermosa Beach MOMS Club Holds Children's Book Drive

The Hermosa Beach Moms Club's December service project is a children's book drive that will benefit the Los Angeles-based 1736 Family Crisis Center.

The Hermosa Beach Moms Club’s December service project is a children’s book drive that will benefit the Los Angeles-based 1736 Family Crisis Center.

The club is collecting books for the center’s "Holiday Store," which invites people of all ages who are enrolled in its programs to select free gifts for themselves and family members. The gifts help those in need make their holidays a joyous time of celebration.

For thirty-eight years, the 1736 Family Crisis Center has addressed the needs of domestic violence victims, runaway and homeless youth, homeless families, unemployed adults and youth and other low-income community members in need of assistance. Licensed therapists, attorneys, and a highly experienced staff manage the crisis center’s programs.
