Food banks receive many donations during the holidays, but need year-round support. This January and February, the Hermosa Beach MOMS Club is doing their part by holding a “SOUP-er-BOWL” canned food drive.

The Hermosa Beach MOMS Club has partnered with the Harbor Gateway South Neighborhood Council/Torrance Outreach; the Council and outreach program assist local low-income and families in need of help. They accept all foods donated, as well as cash contributions.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Torrance Outreach program packages food items into individual bags and distributes them on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, from 9:30 to 10:15 at The Normandale Recreation Center, & 10:30 to 11:30 at the Harbor Gateway Boys & Girls Club.
