"My experience giving blood at the Providence blood drive was actually really fun. When I met Candy McPhail, I could tell she had a passion for helping people very quickly and knowing this blood drive was non profit, and would be used in local hospitals, it was a
no-brainer to get involved. The nurses were very professional and the gentleman who drew my blood,"Ian", was a really cool guy. With that being said, I will be participating in the next one! The importance of people giving blood cannot be understated. There are kids out there who are sick and just taking an hour out of your day to donate a pint of blood can save his/her life. It was a pleasure meeting all of the staff there, I really enjoyed the fun and friendly atmosphere!
Thanks to Candy for reigniting my motivation to give blood again. Also a thanks again to the nurses and everyone involved, great attitudes and who knew giving blood would be such a fun time!!"
