Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) hold Pioneer Day Celebration

Pioneer Day Celebration

President David Hales hosted the Torrance North Stake annual Pioneer Day (July 24) Celebration this past Saturday, which commemorates the arrival of the Mormon pioneers into the Salt Lake Valley in 1847.  Members, families and friends enjoyed a barbecue, live music by the Beatless, games including a taffy pull and the limbo and plenty of popcorn and snow cones.

"I would sincerely like to thank all those, behind the scenes and all the others who devoted there time to help make the Pioneer Day Celebration happen. Everything was good," stated member Shirely Henderson.
