Hermosa Beach, CA- Partnering with Lionsgate and ArcLight Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach Youth Music is presenting a private screening of "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" on November 22, the day that the film is released at Arclight Beach Cities Cinema. To benefit local music education programs. We are planning a "red carpet" event with a costume contest, raffles, prizes from Pasadena Roving Archers, The Cheesecake Factory & Islands Restaurant. The event is sold out!! Our organization, Hermosa Beach Youth Music, is a local community based non-profit , founded in 2012 by a group of dedicated parents who wanted to bring music education back into our school. We have been phenomenally successful and have kept our operation lean so that practically all funding goes directly into our music education programs. This year we were able to expand our program so that we now offer chorus as well as band for interested students.
