Arco Robber Suspect in Other Incidents
The man being sought in the Jan. 7 stickup on PCH is a suspect in the robberies of at least five other gas stations and convenience stores in L.A. and Orange counties, Hermosa detectives say.
The man who is also a suspect in at least five other gas station or convenience store robberies across L.A. and Orange counties, Hermosa Beach detectives said Tuesday.
Similar to the man's other stickups, he carried a handgun with him and wore a bandana over his face when robbing the local Arco on Jan. 7.
Noticing a trend, police said that the suspect generally loads the targeted store's entire cash drawer into a backpack before fleeing the scene.

Officers suspect the man drives a silver four-door vehicle, which appears to be a Saturn in surveillance footage (see accompanying photos).
The man has a thin build and short spiky black hair, police said. He was wearing a maroon bandana and carrying a light blue backpack during the robberies.
