An unidentified pair of underwear left in a home highlights last week's police reports, according to by the Hermosa Beach Police Department crime map and the Hermosa Beach Neighborhood Watch crime log.

Unknown Underwear Left in Home

Police said someone kicked in the door to a home in the 400 block of Herondo Street on July 7 while the owner was away.

When the owner of the house returned, the owner found an unknown pair of male underwear left inside the house but did not report any items missing.

Shoplifting with a Getaway Car

Police said two people entered a store in the 2400 block of Pacific Coast Highway with the intent to steal store merchandise on July 12.

One suspect allegedly stole merchandise while the other kept a lookout and served as the getaway driver. Both suspects were eventually arrested, police said.

Indecent Exposure While Driving

A man was seen playing with his genitals while driving a car in the 500 block of Pier Avenue on July 11, police said. The incident was reported at 2 p.m. and no further information is known.

Stolen Parking Pass, Owner's Manual

A vehicle was broken into on Bayview Drive in Hermosa beach on July 12.  The person stole both a parking pass and vehicle owner's manual from the car.

Alleged Cell Phone Theft by Employee

Someone took a cell phone from a business in Pier Plaza. When security footage was reviewed, the owner of the phone recognized the person as a part-time employee of the business.
