A vehicle making a "left turn when it shouldn't have" was broadsided by another vehicle at the intersection of Aviation Boulevard and Prospect Avenue this afternoon, said Sergeant Steve Saylor of the Hermosa Beach Police Department.
The broadsided vehicle was "knocked over," and the Manhattan Beach Fire Department responded since HBFD was on another call in the city.
MBFD Battalion Chief Ken Shuck told Patch that despite being told at least one person was trapped in a vehicle, all individuals involved in the collision were out of the vehicles when MBFD arrived.
A man, who was sitting on a curb, was examined by paramedics and refused transport to a hospital, Shuck said. MBFD cleaned up fluids and glass.
