Several thousand dollars in cash was taken from a safe inside Mediterraneo sometime between 12 noon on Oct. 7 and 12 midnight on Oct. 8, according to Hermosa Beach police.
Police believe at least one unknown subject retrieved several thousand dollars from the restaurant safe. All employees have access to the area where the safe is located, said Detective Mick Gaglia. The business does have video cameras and the case is under investigation.
