Crossing Guard Hit in Morning Crash

The accident that slowed traffic Monday morning reportedly involved a crossing guard who was struck by a vehicle.

The Monday morning involved a crossing guard who was hit by a vehicle, according to The Beach Reporter on Wednesday.

Hermosa Beach police told the publication that Kush walked into the intersection to stop traffic for children crossing the street, and that’s when a vehicle turning south from Pier Avenue onto PCH hit her.

The incident happened around 9 a.m., affecting Hermosa Beach’s morning traffic.

The crossing guard, who has been identified as Hermosa Beach resident Anne Kush, was transported to Little Company of Mary hospital following the accident with minor injuries.

No children were involved in the incident.
