Early Report of Fire at Local Office Building

Early reports from Patch editor Liz Spear says that fire is expected to close 16th St.

The following is based on a scanner report - more details to come later today.

A fire has been reported in the office building at 1601 Pacific Coast Highway, where light smoke was first reported in a stairwell, and then later behind a closed door.

Hermosa Beach fire department is on the scene, and there have been requests to close 16th Street at Pacific Coast Highway. The fire was reported knocked down at approximately 11 a.m.
