Four establishments were cited for providing alcohol to a minor on Friday, April 13 during a sting, according to Manhattan Beach Police Sergeant Chris Vargas in a press release, including Manhattan Mart in Hermosa Beach.
Fresh & Easy and Oceana Bistro Cafe, both in MB, received citations as did El Tarasco Mexican Restaurant in El Segundo. Employees at each business were cited, too.
The minor decoy sting was conducted by MB, HB and ES police with assistance from Alcoholic Beverage Control agents.
A total of 55 businesses did not provide alcohol to a minor when asked, according to Vargas.
