Hermosa Beach Fire Department Names New Captain

The community honors Brian Grebbien in a ceremony Thursday.

Community members gathered at the Hermosa Beach fire station Thursday afternoon to celebrate the contributions Brian Grebbien has made to the city, as well as his being named a new captain within the .

Fire Chief David Lantzer announced Grebbien’s new position before the small crowd, which included Grebbien’s wife, two daughters and son. Grebbien joined the Hermosa Beach Fire Department in November 2000.
