Police officers need to make at least 25 DUI arrests in order to be recognized by MADD, he said. Last year Juarez arrested 28 drivers and Brunn arrested 31. Brunn also works closely with Keef.

"This is his 4th award," Savelli said about Brunn. "You need at least 25 [DUI arrests] to get an award, so he has done at least 25 four times for the award."

Saylor arrested 60 drivers last year, Savelli said.

"As a reminder as we enter the summer months," he added. "We remind you to please do not drink and drive, please call a cab or please call a friend.”
