Police Blotter: 2 Break-ins

A secured site at a Hermosa Beach home under construction was broken into, and a purse was stolen from a car on Pier Avenue. Here is a roundup of the two incidents.

Tools Taken

A secured residential construction site on the 2800 block of the Strand was broken into Monday morning, according to Hermosa Beach police. Various tools were reported as stolen.

Car Burglary

A woman’s vehicle on the 500 block of Pier Avenue was broken into Friday and her purse, which was left inside of the vehicle, was taken during the crime, according to police reports. The woman told police that her bank account information was later used to make fraudulent purchases.
