Police Blotter: 3 Weekend Burglaries
More than $4,000 worth of merchandise is stolen from a local business and a car on Hermosa Avenue is broken into.
The Hermosa Beach Police Department saw a busy weekend—thousands of dollars worth of merchandise is reported being snatched from a local business, and a garage is broken into.

Car Burglary

A vehicle was broken into Saturday between 2:30 a.m. and 2:48 a.m. on the 1500 block of Hermosa Avenue, according to police reports. The driver's side door window was reported smashed and numerous items were taken from the vehicle.
Garage Burglary

A subterranean garage on the 400 block of Herondo Street was broken into Saturday as well as three maintenance rooms in the building, according to police reports. Several items were reported stolen, including tools, blank keys, a key duplicator and copper pipes.
Pier Plaza Pilfering
A thief broke into an undisclosed business on Pier Plaza on Sunday and got away with about $4,413.62, according to police reports. The store was closed during the crime, which was captured on video surveillance cameras. Stolen items included clothing and personal accessories.
