Shoppers in a PCH store on Sunday purchased items using counterfeit money, according to Hermosa Beach police reports. The scam happened around 3:15 p.m. in the 300 block of PCH.
Suspected DUI

Police were notified around 11:18 p.m. Sunday that a driver heading northbound on PCH was swerving from lane to lane. The driver was reportedly stopped and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Skateboard robbery
Two people robbed a skateboarder Thursday around 6:53 p.m. in the 2600 block of Valley Drive. The suspects threatened the skateboarder before snatching the board, according to police reports.
Burglary interrupted
A burglar was caught in the act of stealing garage tools Thursday around 5:30 a.m. The suspect snuck into the garage of a home in 600 block of Porter Lane and began loading a duffel bag with tools before being found by the homeowner, according to police reports.
Stealing jeans
One suspected shoplifter had a passion for fashion Wednesday while shopping around 3:15 p.m. The shopper stole two pairs of jeans from inside a Hermosa Avenue clothing store, according to police reports. The total value of the items was less than $950.
