Guests steal

A Hermosa Beach woman who invited guests to her home for drinks Saturday later found out that they had stolen from her, according to police reports. As one of the guests distracted the woman, the other reportedly stole property from her 26th Street home.

Package pilfered

A package delivered to a Hermosa Beach apartment on the 2600 block of Manhattan Avenue was stolen Thursday, according to police reports. UPS delivered the package, leaving it at the front door of the residence. The package was later found empty on a walk path near the apartment—it had contained jewelry.
