Fight causes injuries

Two women found themselves in a violent attack in the 1200 block of Hermosa Avenue as Saturday night turned into early Sunday, according to Hermosa Beach police reports.

Two known suspects first attacked one woman, knocking her tooth out in the process, according to police. Then the woman’s friend jumped in, and was slashed deeply in her left heal, the report said. She told police in the report that she believes she was stabbed. The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m.

Remember to always lock your vehicles—more have been reported recently in Hermosa Beach. A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Herondo Street was broken into around 4:10 a.m. Sunday, according to police reports. The vehicle was unlocked, and two suspects were involved in stealing property worth more than $950, the report said. The victim was able to provide descriptions of the suspects, according to police.

The third row seat of a Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen out of the vehicle, which also was left unlocked during the crime around 7 p.m. Thursday, according to police reports. The Tahoe was parked in the 400 block of Hopkins Street, according to the report.
