One bicycle is taken from Beach Cities Cycle and another is stolen among other items from a Hermosa Beach home.

Vons, Beach Cities Cycle, and a local convenience store are among businesses that saw thefts in the previous week. Here is a summary of recent crimes in Hermosa Beach:

Vons Theft

A man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of stealing a sandwich and two alcoholic beverages from the on Pier Avenue, according to Hermosa Beach police reports. Loss prevention officers reportedly saw the man take the items before arresting him.

Taking Cigarettes

A man stole two packs of cigarettes Sunday from the convenience store on Manhattan Avenue, according to police reports. The thief walked away without paying for the items at 3:57 p.m. The business is eager for prosecution.

Items Stolen from Residence

A home on the 600 block of 11th Street was broken into Friday, according to police reports. Jewelry, clothing, electronics and a bicycle were all stolen from the inside of the residence.

Cycle Crooks

Men walked into on PCH last Tuesday and stole an unlocked bicycle worth $599.99, according to police reports. The entire incident was captured on surveillance video.
