Manhattan Beach police are on the lookout today for a man suspected of sexually molesting a boy in a park bathroom.

At about 2:09 p.m. today, the boy walked into the men’s restroom at Polliwog Park alone when he was accosted by a man, described as Caucasian in his 40s with gray hear, medium build, wearing a white shirt and dark-colored pants, according to a news release from the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The man forced the boy into a bathroom stall, where he fondled the boy’s genitals, officials said.

The incident may be related to a crime that occurred in Hermosa Beach on April 16, police said.

“Due to the sensitive nature of this crime, the ongoing investigation, and because it involves a minor, no further information will be released at this time,” says the news release.

If anyone has information that could possibly be associated with this crime, including suspicious persons or vehicles seen in the area today, please contact:

I put up the story in Hermosa Beach Patch http://hermosabeach.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/police-13yearold-boy-molested-in-valley-park-bathroom The date from MBPD's press release was wrong. The Hermosa Beach incident also happened this week. I've since corrected the story.

This is crazy. 2 incidents in a week. Do they have cameras outside the bathrooms? Seems like something they should have.

If caught, this worthless poor excuse for a human should be executed or at a minimum imprisoned for life.
