St. Patrick's Day had no extra surprises for Hermosa Beach Police this year.

Report: This year's St. Patrick Day festivities mirrored trends seen last year, with no significant increase of alcohol-related arrests, said Sgt. Robert Higgins of the Hermosa Beach Police Department. About six arrests were made for incidents ranging from DUIs to drunk in public.

An unidentified suspect punched a car's passenger side mirror, breaking it. The victim witnessed the incident take place from her apartment's balcony and tried to pursue the suspect but was unable to locate him.

Theft

A woman's wallet was stolen from a bathroom at Waterman's on the pier. In the wallet was about $175 in cash, a debit card, health insurance cards and gift cards.

Theft

A car was broken into and had stolen from it an iPod, a pair of sunglasses, an umbrella, an audio cable and a pack of Trident chewing gum. The victim went to his car in the morning to find that his console compartment had been compromised. No suspects have been identified.

Theft

A woman's car was broken into and had a Nintendo DSD, an art set, make up, prescription sunglasses, drum sticks and clothing removed from it. The victim believed that she had locked the car, but when she initially approached her car it was unlocked with no visible damage. No suspect has been identified.
