Police Searching for Local Pickpockets

Police have released the photos of two men who appear to snatch a woman's wallet out of her purse in surveillance video July 2. After the incident, the woman's credit card was used at two locations in El Segundo.

The woman was dining at Patrick Molloys around 6 p.m. that night, according to the police report. She placed her purse over the back of her chair when the men sat down at a table behind her.

One of the men used his jacket to cover up what he was doing as he reached into the woman's purse and took out her wallet, the report said. The other man watched. Once the wallet was removed, the two men immediately left the bar.

The woman told police that she didn't realize her wallet was missing until about an hour later. Detectives then noticed that the woman's credit card was being used at various locations. Police are continuing to search for the men.
