Police Seek Suspect in CVS Thefts

A man authorities suspect snatched items from two CVS stores in Hermosa Beach on the same day is caught on surveillance footage.

Police now have obtained surveillance images of a man who allegedly stole cosmetic and hygiene items from the CVS stores on PCH and Pier Avenue on March 26.

The suspect got away with $1,386.56 worth of products from the CVS store on PCH around 12:39 p.m., according to police reports.

Then, just about two hours later, police suspect that the same man took $385.88 worth of items from the CVS on Pier Avenue around 2 p.m., according to reports.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old. He has short brown hair and wore a grey sweatshirt in surveillance footage.

The man possibly is driving a blue or black Honda vehicle, according to police.
