Police Truck on Display During Holiday
The special public safety vehicle sits behind the Hermosa Beach Police Department on Independence Day in case of emergency, officials say.
The black truck sitting behind the on Pier Avenue on Monday appeared as if it was transplanted in town from the set of the new Transformers 3 movie—but it's actually used by the department on major holidays in case of an emergency, police told Patch on Independence Day. As of 3 p.m. Monday the truck had not been used, but was a sight to see for many passersby.
