Police are advising drivers to avoid a stretch of Aviation Boulevard because of a traffic collision.
Police are advising drivers to avoid Aviation Boulevard from Artesia to Manhattan Beach boulevards because of a traffic incident near Ninth Street.
Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach police are on scene, directing traffic and conducting an investigation, according to radio transmissions.
The Manhattan Beach Police Department sent a Nixle alert about the incident about 5:58 p.m., advising drivers to avoid the section of Aviation Boulevard. It is unclear how long Aviation Boulevard will be closed.
