City Approves Free Parking in Downtown Hermosa Beach for 2 Weeks

Visitors and shoppers can park for free for up to three hours at all silver parking meters.

The Hermosa Beach City Council recently approved a program to provide two weeks of free parking in downtown Hermosa Beach in December.

Visitors to Hermosa Beach can park for free for up to three hours at all silver parking meters from Wednesday through Dec. 25. 

“Holiday free parking is another way for us to welcome visitors and encourage residents to enjoy great shopping and dining in Hermosa Beach,” said Mayor Michael DiVirgilio in a press release. “We are pleased to continue our free holiday parking program and we are pleased about the pilot program that expands it to weekdays in January.”

The City Council has provided up to three hours of free parking at silver meters during the holiday season the last three years.
