Hermosa Beach City Council and city staff discussed the preliminary 2013-2014 budget at a public workshop last week.
City Manager Tom Bakaly is calling the budget value based. Its highlights include additional staff and capital improvements, including street improvements, the Aviation Blvd./Pacific Coast Hwy. beautification project, sewer improvements, a park master plan and buildings and grounds improvements.
The budget will be publicly discussed at City Council's June 11th meeting.
