Council to Hold Next Meeting on Eastside

The Hermosa Beach City Council invites residents to Hermosa View School on Aug. 9 for a regular council meeting—this is a change from City Hall.

The Eastside is the new Westside for the Hermosa Beach City Council as it has decided to meet at  for its regular meeting on Aug. 9 instead of convening at City Hall.

This switch from City Hall on the Westside of town to Hermosa View on the Eastside is an effort to provide equal and convenient opportunities for the community to attend and participate in city governance, said Mayor Howard Fishman in a statement Monday.

"This meeting is a great way to ensure that everyone in Hermosa Beach gets to see what the City Council does and to participate in the governance of our city," he said.
