Evaluate Your Police and Fire Departments at Meeting Monday

Residents and community members are invited to voice their opinions and expectations of the city's police and fire services at a Community Public Safety Open House Monday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Hermosa Beach City Council Chambers, 1315 Valley Drive.

The public meeting is part of a study, currently in progress, of the city’s police and fire services by the International City/County Managers Association. The study involves a review of policies and procedures, evaluation of incident and timeline, evaluation of response time and interviews with police and fire personnel.

The study is intended to help the city link staffing levels with the opinions and desires of the community.
