The adult co-ed league is put on by the city's Community Resources Department.

Join a co-ed Beach Volleyball League to find out what you're made of.

The league, which plays Tuesdays from 6:15 to 8 p.m. for 10 weeks, features a best 2 out of 3 games each evening, followed by two weeks of playoffs. Players on the court are two males and two females who will take to the sand to beat the competition.

Individuals can be placed on teams. Contact Bill Sigler at bill@smacksportswear.com or Chris Jahng at cyj@prankmonkey.org for details.

Registration must be made at the city's Community Center at 710 Pier Avenue or online.

If registering as a team, a completed team roster is due upon registration.

The fee per team is $240, which includes playoffs, plus $5 per non-Hermosa resident. There is a 6-team minimum and 44-team maximum with an 8-person roster limit and players must be 18-years up to 38.

The league plays on the north side of the Hermosa Beach Pier.

Freedom is based on a sure identity, that I know who I am, but more importantly WHOSE I am. WhenRead More the LORD sent Moses to deliver His people, that was the beginning of their liberty. They were a particular people to the LORD, whose name is better understand as "He who was, is, and always will be." Not a god made of stone or wood, but the One who made, makes, and evermore makes and gives to us: the LORD took Israel by the hand and led them from bondage to slavery. Not who you are, but whose you are, makes all the difference between bondage and liberty: "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15) Have you been adopted yet? "
