Hermosa Parking Permit Renewal Period Begins

Residents and businesses can renew parking permits in person or through the mail.

Hermosa Beach residents and employees of Hermosa Beach businesses have until March 19 to renew residential parking permits with the city for the coming year.

This year, the city is allowing residents and employees to renew their parking permits in person at City Hall in addition to the traditional mail in method of renewal.

According to the city, in person renewals began on February 4 and renewal applications will be mailed to residents this week. While the over the counter renewal option is available, the city encouraged residents to renew through the mail to avoid standing in line.

Residential permits for 2013-2014 will cost $40 while employee permits cost $143. Both permits are valid until February 28 of next year and allow for free parking at yellow posted meters and in one-hour zones for up to 72 hours.

Residents who wish to apply must show proof of residency less than 30 days old and employees must show a recent pay stub from an Hermosa Beach business.

For more information visit the City of Hermosa Beach's parking permit page.

Freedom is based on a sure identity, that I know who I am, but more importantly WHOSE I am. WhenRead More the LORD sent Moses to deliver His people, that was the beginning of their liberty. They were a particular people to the LORD, whose name is better understand as "He who was, is, and always will be." Not a god made of stone or wood, but the One who made, makes, and evermore makes and gives to us: the LORD took Israel by the hand and led them from bondage to slavery. Not who you are, but whose you are, makes all the difference between bondage and liberty: "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15) Have you been adopted yet? "
