Santa Claus Is Coming to Town

Hermosa Beach Neighborhood Watch and Gum Tree offer special time with Santa.

Santa Claus will cruise through Hermosa Beach neighborhoods Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. during the 6th Annual Santa Sleigh Ride put on by Hermosa Beach Neighborhood Watch.

Then on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., Santa will hold forth at Gum Tree, where photos can be taken with the jolly guy for $5 for a 5x7 print and $20 for the print and digital file. Gum Tree's Santa event is a fundraiser for the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation and all proceeds will be donated. Frosted Cupcakery is providing free hot cocoa and mini cupcakes, said Lori Ford of Gum Tree.

Santa's route on Wednesday night includes six stops, at each of which he will spend 20 minutes posing for photos with residents. Santa will be riding in his sleigh along with his helpers and escorted by the Hermosa Beach Police and Fire departments.

Freedom is based on a sure identity, that I know who I am, but more importantly WHOSE I am. WhenRead More the LORD sent Moses to deliver His people, that was the beginning of their liberty. They were a particular people to the LORD, whose name is better understand as "He who was, is, and always will be." Not a god made of stone or wood, but the One who made, makes, and evermore makes and gives to us: the LORD took Israel by the hand and led them from bondage to slavery. Not who you are, but whose you are, makes all the difference between bondage and liberty: "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15) Have you been adopted yet? "
