Six Go for Three Open City Council Seats

Other potential City Council candidates have until 5 p.m. Wednesday to complete the process that enables them to seek election.

To date, six candidates have pulled and filed papers to run for one of three City Council seats in the November election. 

Non-incumbent candidates are Carolyn J. Petty, Nanette Barragan, Gregory J. Savelli, John L. Bowler and current City Council members Jeff Duclos and Patrick "Kit" Bobko. Councilman Howard Fishman said he will not seek re-election.

Possible City Council candidates Hany S. Fangary, Mark A. Hymanson and Robert Atkins have until 5 p.m. Wednesday to file the election paper they pulled form the city clerk's office. 

The race for the open city treasurer seat will be between Julius (J.R.) Reviczky and Karen S. Nowicki.
