Skid Row, an American rock band, from New Jersey were hugely popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band had sold 20 million albums worldwide by the end of 1996. They became popular with their first two albums, Skid Row and Slave to the Grind, which are often considered their best works to date. Skid Row reformed in the late 1990s with new vocalist Johnny Solinger, replacing Sebastian Bach. After reforming, they opened for KISS on their farewell tour and have continued to tour every summer.

I’ve yet to see Skid Row live, but I am looking forward to seeing them with their current singer Johnny who’s been with them actually longer than Sebastian Bach. I’m sure there is some controversy regarding who’s the better front man, but really what maters is the music, and here’s a rock and roll band that’s been around 25 years that still continues to tour and share their music with their many loyal fans.
