Todd Rundgren Brings His Talent to Saint Rocke

This man needs no introduction, guys and gals. The electronic music revolutionary, Todd Rundgren, will be here. At Saint Rocke. Tuesday, July 9th. Live and in person.  The psychedelic Philly native started playing music in the 60’s, and has never looked back.

His production techniques, and his belief that he has ability to play just about any instrument at a mastery level, allowed him to release some of the most honest and personal music of his time. Many of his solo albums, including “Something/Anything” were made completely by himself. Not only did Todd play all the instruments and sing all the vocals, but he also did the recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. He even distributed the album through his record label, Bearsville.

He started producing music earlier in his career; starting with the Sparks and the New York Dolls, he continued to produce artists like Meatloaf, XTC, and many others. Todd’s most recent project was as the frontman for The New Cars. It was made up of Todd Rundgren, two of his band mates and two of the original members of The Cars.

This is a no-brainer, folks. Come see Todd Rundgren play hits like “I Saw the Light” and “Hello It’s Me.” It’s on a Tuesday. Get through the rest of your week without plotting ways to get back at your boss for making your life a living hell; or at least put those thoughts on hold for a week. Or maybe just for the night. All depends on your boss.
