Hawaiian Invasion at Saint Rocke

The islands are calling you..

Have you been dreaming of a vacation? Thinking Hawaii, possibly? You're in luck, because Hawaii is invading Saint Rocke for two nights in November.

On November 28th, slack-key guitarist Makana is coming to take you on a mini-vacation to Hawaii. You may recognize his music from the Academy Award Winning movie, The Descendants. His protest song, We Are The Many has over 300,000 views, and Makana even performed it in front of many world leaders including President Obama. Makana has even been named one of the best guitarists in the United States.

As you can see, Makana's music touches a variety of different topics, but no matter the topic; Makana makes sweet, beautiful music.

Speaking of sweet, beautiful music..Anuhea will be at Saint Rocke on November 29th. With the repuation of Hawaii's #1 female singer, it's no wonder this girl is such a rising star. She so effortlessly writes beautiful lyrics and combines the music of the islands with modern influences such as hip hop,funk, soul, and R&B, but plays them on an acoustic guitar. Anuhea has toured with a variety of acts to reflect her style of music including Pepper, Al Green, Hoobastank, FloRida, Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, and Bruno Mars to name a few.
