Martha Davis & The Motels Back with a Vengeance

Martha Davis & The Motels are back and better than ever, and they're coming to The South Bay April 7th.

Martha Davis and The Motels are back with a vengeance. Ms. Davis, who Robert Hilburn once called “arguably the most charismatic female performer in rock”, is making a formidable return to the music scene on all fronts.

Fresh from a triumphant show at the Hollywood Bowl (where the band played with The GoGos’s), and in addition to writing and recording her first new album in years, she’s also set to shoot her first new music video. Both new and existing fans will be reminded of The Motels’ rich legacy of music videos shot by A-list directors such as Russell Mulcahey (“Only The Lonely”), and David Fincher (“Don’t Tell Me The Time”). Ms. Davis also won an American Music Award for Best Performance in a Music Video for “Take The L”; a song subsequently parodied by Weird Al Yankovic and aptly re-titled “Take The L Out Of Liver”.

Want the opportunity to see her in an intimate setting? See Martha Davis and the Motels on April 7th at Saint Rocke. Tickets are $15. Doors at 6PM, show starts at 7PM. For tickets, please visit saintrocke.com. For table reservations please call 310-372-0035.
