Saint Rocke Has A Hyper Crush

Hyper Crush brings the party to Saint Rocke this Friday night.

What do you get when you mix the 80s, lasers, video games, and synthesizer? You get the Los Angeles based electro/dance/rap trio, Hyper Crush.

With a name that makes them sound like some kind of outlawed energy drink, this eccentric group of individuals has had no problem igniting audiences in literal frenzy since their conception in 2007

The band was formed when female vocalist Holly Valentine was approached by high school friends Donny Fontaine and Preston Moronie (formerly members of The Bel-Airs, a doo-wop duo) and asked to sing for their new group.

Seemingly stuck in another period of time, the band dishes out a healthy serving of retro references in their music and persona, while sampling sounds from various classic video games. Often compared to such artists as Benny Benassi and LMFAO, Hyper Crush has found great success within their niche, boasting over 97,000 fans on Facebook and having a Youtube channel with nearly 15,000 subscribers and over ten million video views.

Hyper Crush released their sophomore album, Night Wave, on February 7, 2012. You can a single from the album titled “Werk Me”, here:

Electronic music fans, nerds, and time travelers alike can all find something to enjoy from this powerhouse group. Make sure to run to the store and buy some cans of Hyper Crush, before the F.D.A. takes it off the shelves for good.

To hear them LIVE: go to Saint Rocke this FRIDAY. Tix: www.saintrocke.com

Freedom is based on a sure identity, that I know who I am, but more importantly WHOSE I am. WhenRead More the LORD sent Moses to deliver His people, that was the beginning of their liberty. They were a particular people to the LORD, whose name is better understand as "He who was, is, and always will be." Not a god made of stone or wood, but the One who made, makes, and evermore makes and gives to us: the LORD took Israel by the hand and led them from bondage to slavery. Not who you are, but whose you are, makes all the difference between bondage and liberty: "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." (Romans 8: 15) Have you been adopted yet? "
