2 Volleyball Coaches Coming to RUHS
Redondo Union High School girls volleyball head coach Tommy Chaffins hires the new coaches for the upcoming school year—Darryl Gan and Amy Mosebar.
The Redondo Union High School girls volleyball team will see two new coaches on staff this school year, head coach Tommy Chaffins said last week.
Darryl Gan, a former three-year head coach at Corona del Mar, has joined the staff. Gan, a new father of a 4-month-old son, wanted to work closer to and spend more time with his Redondo Beach-based family.
Gan has coached volleyball in Orange County for the past 20 years. He also has been a fixture at the Orange County Volleyball Club for the past 15 years. In addition, he continues to coach club teams at Southern California Volleyball Club Los Cab in Fountain Valley.

"We really lucked out to get someone of his knowledge and expertise," Chaffins said about Gan.
Amy Mosebar, a 2007 Redondo graduate and former Sea Hawks standout, also will become a member of the coaching staff. Mosebar, who played four seasons at Biola, was the captain of Redondo’s 2006 CIF title team.

"She’ll also be a great addition to our staff," Chaffins said.
