Hearts of Hermosa is all set to raise funds for Hermosa Beach City schools this Saturday.
The benefit gala, held at 720 Pier Ave. next to the Community Center, is a dinner/dance/auction put on by the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation to benefit the city's two public schools.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with silent auction bidding until 9 p.m., hors d' oeuvres from 6 to 8 p.m., dinner at 8, a live auction at 9:30 p.m. followed by dancing from 10 to 11:30 p.m. Cocktail attire is the dress of the evening.
This is the 17th annual staging of this popular event. Tickets are $275 per couple or $150 for an individual and can be purchased online through Friday. Drink tickets are $5 each and may also be purchased in advance online.
