More News on Teacher Layoffs at Mira Costa High

The school board of public schools in Manhattan Beach is determining how many and which teachers they will issue pink slips to.

If you have kids who attend or might attend Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, you might want to know more about what's going on with MB public schools.

The board of trustees is looking at issuing 24.6 layoff notices to full-time certificated instructors, with about 11 of those positions assigned to the district's secondary schools: Mira Costa and MB Middle School.
